Hi Everyone! My name is Alyssa Ludeking and this fall marks the start of my 12th year as a music educator! I am very excited to be joining the La Crosse Girl Choir as the Touring Director.
I started my teaching career in Necedah, Wisconsin and most recently taught at Hintgen Elementary in La Crosse. The first eight years of my career I taught K-12 general music, choir, and show choir.
My husband and I met while attending Viterbo University and were married in 2016. We live in Onalaska and have two children, Keenan (3) and Carolyn (1) . We also have two labradoodles named Mazey and Mia. My husband coaches the Onalaska Varsity Girls Soccer Team so when we’re not busy with soccer, we love spending time outside, visiting family and getting together with friends and I LOVE to bake.
I cannot wait to meet our girlchoir members and am even more excited to start making music with them! I look forward to creating a welcome and fun atmosphere while singing beautiful music together! See you in September!
Concert Choir Director: Gwynne Mishler
Hi everybody! My name is Gwynne Mishler. I am so excited to be joining the girlchoir as the director of the Concert Choir this Fall! Fall will mark my 31st year in music education…..that actually sounds ridiculous, but it is true. Currently, I teach General Music at St. Pats. I also sing with the La Crescent Apple Annies, and was Apple Annie 2015. I have an adult daughter, Madelyn, and three fur pets, Marigold, Fritzie and Leroy who keep me on my toes. I have been married to Mike for 25 years. This also sounds ridiculous! We like to go on car rides and watch football, though we cheer for different teams. My other passion is gardening and canning.
I cannot wait to meet all of you this fall and make music together, encourage each other, and share our art with others!
Shannon Brown- Business Director
Hi everyone! My name is Shannon Brown and I joined the La Crosse Girlchoir as the Business Director in 2022. I am also a First Grade teacher in La Crescent. With a large musical background in vocal training and piano playing, I am a huge supporter of the arts and I have loved working with the Girlchoir ever since I joined! Here’s to another great season!
