The La Crosse Girlchoir has been serving Southern Wisconsin for over 25 years, instilling a musical foundation for girls from ages 7 to 18.  The La Crosse Girlchoir is comprised of two groups – Concert Choir and Touring Choir. The Concert Choir, is the preparatory choir under the direction of Gwynne Mishler, and focuses on instruction in voice, sight-reading  theory, and group singing. Under the direction of Alyssa Ludeking, the Touring Choir is an advanced group emphasizing the same skills but at a higher level. The Touring Choir tours nationally to places such as New York City, New Orleans, Nashville, and around Wisconsin and Illinois. Both choirs perform two concerts per year and also take part in performances locally.

The La Crosse Girlchoir welcomes girls of all ethnic, economic, and religious backgrounds.  Scholarships are available for half of the tuition and the choir does fundraisers every semester to help families with tuition costs.
